Bizarre Creations has told CVG that there’s only one thing stopping the Project Gotham Racing series appearing in PC…
The mighty Project Gotham Racing franchise has so far kept itself exclusively to the Xbox platforms – yes, we know Metropolis Street Racer was a DC title but we’re talking about PGR here before you start. But how long will that last in the light of Microsoft’s reenergised support of PC?
If Microsoft’s Holy Grail Halo gets a PC release what’s to stop the likes of PGR4 and even Forza 2 following suit? Microsoft is – that’s what.
During an interview with Bizarre web and community lead Ben Ward, we asked about the chance of PGR4 making the crossover to PC. “That’s really a question for Microsoft, not Bizarre,” we were told. “However, our internal shared tech systems are running across several platforms, including PC, so we’re more than capable of doing so.” Don’t go getting excited about PGR on Wii or anything.
Is PGR and Forza something all your PC racers would be interested in? What about cross-platform play? No keyboard and mouse issues there… Let us know below and hit this link for the full PGR4 interview.
