On December 12, Microsoft begin rolling out a new streamlined design for Bing social sidebar making it easier to find people who are relevant to your search based on what they've shared, blogged or tweeted about. Today, the company has announced that new "Bing Social results are now available on iPad (including iPad Mini)."
"Today we are announcing browser support for Safari on iPad (including iPad Mini) for the social sidebar," Bing stated.
"The design will adapt to landscape or portrait so you can see what's going on with social networks regardless of how you're holding the device," Bing adds.
Bing explains that it only takes a few steps to get the benefits of new social results--"simply go to Bing, authenticate with your Facebook profile under Sign In," and you're good to go.
The changes will be rolling out over the next few days.
