A new video of Bing Webmaster Tools webinar discussing Search and Social is now available --check it below:
In other news, Bing is embarking on one of its most ambitious projects yet: hosting the largest interactive State of the Union experience at Bing.com/Politics at 12 p.m. Pacific on February 9th.
"Powered by Bing search technology and its unique social search experience, Bing.com/Politics will be a non-partisan online destination designed to meet this growing need for up-to-the-minute political information and second-screen experiences that are a great companion to political broadcasts," Bing stated.
In addition, Bing.com/Politics is also unveiling its social sentiment tracker, the Bing Beat, which will analyze social sentiment on Twitter associated with the State of the Union, such as immigration, gun control, and the fiscal cliff.
Additionally, in partnership with FOX News Channel and Foxnews.com, Microsoft will also launch the Bing Pulse, which will enable Americans to give real-time feedback on the President's speech.
"The Bing Pulse will allow people to join the conversation by "voting" every five seconds on their reactions to the President's speech. Real time results of the Bing Pulse will be shown at Bing.com/Politics and on FOX News Channel," Bing wrote.
Update 02/12: Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, during an "Ask Me Anything" conversation, when asked by a Reddit user "Fozzy420", "Do you guys really use Bing? I mean seriously…" Gates promptly replied:
Seriously Bing is the better product at this point. Try the challenge. I am biased but the work to make Bing better has been amazing.
Gates posted a annimated video of the answer to the three of those AMA questions. The video features an animated version of Gates in a style that's similar to the Reddit mascot and has Gates's own voice answering the questions.
