Bing rolls out several new features to maps related searches improving the experience for the UK users while searching for addresses, places, maps, directions, etc. on Bing.com.
Some notable enhancements recently enabled for UK users, such as “Address Queries” let users search for an address to see where it is located on the map. Locations can also be search using high-precision postcodes.
Search Business by Address help you look up an address to see if any businesses are associated with the address.
On large screen devices like laptops or tablets, the map is fully dynamic and interactive. This also works for queries for cities, countries, postcodes, and other kinds of places.

Simple Maps Queries. Bing for desktop brings in an enriched search experience for keywords like ‘maps’ and ‘map’ which trigger a map answer experience centered around users’ location with auto suggestioons for nearby places, including businesses and all other locations when signed-in.

Improved Driving Directions now list alternate driving routes and provide estimated time in traffic.
Also, Bing has added a new ‘Search along the route’ feature that allows users to locate places and attractions when taking a road trip to their destination.
Bing also has made improvements to “Latitude & Longitude” queries experience enabling users to search for lat/long coordinates on Bing.com. The results will show the associated address location along with list of any businesses nearby.
Last but not the least, also Bing has enabled Streetside imagery.
