Bing Maps Silverlight Control 1.0 is released and .dlls are ready and adds stunning aesthetic, unmatched performance and an innovative revolution to an already strong arsenal contained under Bing Maps Platform’s umbrella. Everything from CTP was brought forward including support for Deep Zoom, pixel to lat/lon reversal (and vice versa), vector graphics, scalable images and video placement etc. For more on CTP, “Introducing The Virtual Earth Silverlight Map Control” or watch MIX 2009 session. Software Development Kit (SDK) provides binaries and programming reference for Bing Maps Silverlight Control. You can use this control to build your own Web sites that use Bing maps. Note: Microsoft altered the Bing Maps terms of use.
