Starting on Sep. 1, Bing Ads begun accepting participants in the .Pharmacy program "as the only proof of accreditation from National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) in the United States and Canada," writes the team.

In addition, Bing Ads, also will be accepting "LegitScript certification" as proof of accreditation for online pharmacies and prescription-only medications in the U.S. and Canada.

With this announcement, no longerVerified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites (VIPSS) program, Vet-VIPPS program, or e-Advertiser program registration will be accepted as proof of accreditation from NABP for online pharmacies and prescription-only medications, writes the Bing Ads team.

However, advertisers are advised to maintain their own compliance where required by law, as some states may still require VIPPS in addition to any other accreditation.

These changes, will be published on the policy page on or before September 8th, 2017.

Any, additional information on pharmacy policy, can be obtained at the pharmacy and health care products and services policies page.
