Google Executive Chariman Eric Schmidt at the Big Tent Summit in India, said that Google Now is being submitted to Apple App Store for approval--and the ball is now in Apple's court for Google Now on iOS.
Apple later denied stating "it hasn't yet received an official submission of Google Now for iOS. There's no such app in the queue," Apple says. So, Google Now on iOS is still a pipe dream for the time being.
Schmidt responded to a direct question from moderator Alan Rusbridger about when Google Now would work on his iPhone stating:
"You'll need to discuss that with Apple". "Apple has a policy of approving or disapproving apps that are submitted into its store, and some of them they approve and some of them they don't," he went on to say.
Google Now for iOS might still be in the works at Google as this apparently leaked video suggests. The video demos features including traffic for commutes, live updates for flights, translation and conversion services, as well as updates for athletic events and sightseeing info.
