Rovio, the developer of the Angry Birds, has now released "Angry Birds Rio" and "Angry Birds Seasons" for Windows PCs.
Just under $5, the native Windows version boasts a few improvements over its Flash companion. With around 240 levels, there's no need to be connected to the internet in order to play so the player is free from being on a lead. The game can be played either in a window or full screen, whichever your style of playing games is.
The specs suggest Windows XP SP2 or higher with 1GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM, and Graphic OpenGL 1.3 compatible is required to play the game. Internet Connection required for the activation.
The aim of the game is to catapult the poorly-mooded birds and eliminate all of the pigs, which are either easy to get to or protected by structures that you need to take down. Points are awarded for each pig eliminated and structures damaged, while extra points are given if there are unused birds in the queue.
Angry Birds Rio can be downloaded here. To unlock the full versions, you can purchase an activation key for each game.
Have fun playing Angry Birds! Squawk!
