Android Pay Coming Soon Onto Mobile Web Through Chrome

Android Pay family adds more banks in the United States, and the U.K., integrates merchants rewards program, will soon open mobile checkout on Chrome.

Android Pay, helps simply and securely make online payment using Android smartphones today received some more updates:

First up, new banks are added in the US and UK to the Android Pay family now includes: Chase, Santander and TSB.

Google notes, this rollout will start over the coming weeks – and it'll soon add more to Android Pay.

Google is also making checkouts more simple with Android Pay coming to mobile web soon. This will allow users to checkout on Chrome using Android Pay on sites like Groupon.com, 1-800-Flowers.com and many more to come.

In addition, they're bringing more value from merchants by adding their reward programs. To this end, firs, Android Pay integrated with Walgreens Balance Rewards loyalty program helping customers to save, earn and redeem loyalty points, and pay for their purchases at more than 8,100 locations nationwide.

And, "there's no need to even open the app – it's smart enough to know when to pull up a customer's Balance Rewards card and when to pay."

Also, Dunkin' Donuts and Chili's will integrate their loyalty programs in the coming months.

Uber is integrating their new Payment Rewards program to allow users to unlock timely discounts. Starting today through October 15th, "all Android Pay users in the US can enjoy 50% off 10 Uber rides," writes Google.

Android Pay updates
