Google is testing a new text above their sponsored ads. In this update, Google has moved the "Ads related to…followed by the search query" on its search results pages at the top of the top ad block.
"The new text appears at the top of the yellow AdWords box on search engine results pages, with the user's search term bolded, Dream Systems Media reports.
Previous versions have included simple text like "ads" or "sponsors". This is the first time Google has included the search term.
Google already provides information on why certain ads appear if users click on "Why These Ads?" at the top right of the yellow ad block, but this text provides the information at a glance.

A Google spokesperson says the intent is to give users more information stating, "As part of our ongoing efforts to show ads that are relevant and informative, we are including more information about why users are seeing certain search ads."
In other Google related news, Vice President of the European Commission responsible for Competition Policy, Joaquín Almunia, today issued a statement on the various antitrust complaints against Google.
"Google Inc. has repeatedly expressed to me its willingness to discuss any concerns that the Commission might have without having to engage in adversarial proceedings. This is why I am today giving Google an opportunity to offer remedies to address the concerns we have already identified," he said.
Adding, "I believe that these fast-moving markets would particularly benefit from a quick resolution of the competition issues identified. Restoring competition swiftly to the benefit of users at an early stage is always preferable to lengthy proceedings, although these sometimes become indispensable to competition enforcement," Almunia said.
