OK, you want to try out Access Services but don’t have the resources to setup a full machine running SharePoint Beta. Microsoft have announced, that a 3rd party provider “SmithBridge” has a sandbox beta hosting environment up and running, and is designed to allow developers to try out the service without having to install and configure SharePoint. “Larry Strange from SmithBridge has been doing large scale hosting for a while, he started SharePoint Hosting back in 2003 which’s now owned and run by Dell. His latest venture Access Hosting is a full service hosting platform and data migration service for current Access databases. They’re offering a limited free hosting trial with SharePoint Server 2010 Beta for early adopters.” To create web databases you’ll need to download and install Office 2010 Beta Client. You can then sign up for the trial at AccessHosting.com and start publishing!
