Recognizing the importance of "Cloud computing" education to the IT professional GITCA and Microsoft are working together to stage an event called "24 Hours in the Cloud".

"This will consist of an online virtual event where you will be able to log on and attend sessions just as if you were at a physical conference. You will even be able to ask questions of the presenters and other attendees, as well as fill your event bag with valuable content from the event," Microsoft stated.

The first session, keynote by Doug Terry of Microsoft Research, will start at 9am Pacific Daylight Time on June 1.
