Bing Adds Klout's Scores on SERPs - Klout Adding Bing As a Connected Network

Bing adds Klout's scores to the information on search results page. In return, Klout adding Bing as a connected network, along with Facebook, Twitter, Flikr and others, on Klout for the purposes of influence ranking.

Bing gets more Klout as well as Klout has also added Bing as a connected network, alongside Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and others, for the purpose of influence ranking as on Thursday, March 28.

Bing and Klout entered into a partnership last September, with Bing adding Klout information on its social sidebar as important attribute to its's description of certain people. Since than, it's the first time Klout has added 'search' as a sign of influence.

"We think this young category of influence measurement is an interesting one, and we are pleased to be doing such interesting work with Klout," Bing stated.

In addition, Bing has also added Klout scores to the information it displays about professionals and celebrities who are active on social networks (or have a commanding web presence).

Bing says, this will help users gain a better understanding of the areas their friends, coworkers and even celebs might be experts on.

So now, when you look for people information, "you will now see their Klout score, right next to information from their publicly available LinkedIn profile information, as well as links to their Twitter and Facebook accounts," Bing added.

Microsoft promises to continue work on Bing.
