In other releated news, Google has now begun redirecting picasaweb.google.com to the Google+ Photos albums.

For over a year since Google+ photos was launched, Picasa Web Albums has not added any new features, while +Photos constantly impropving as Google is slowly getting rid off Picasa.

However, those who want to go back to the Picasa can simply use this URL that Google displays in a message stating: "Click here to go back to Picasa Web Albums." When you use the URL, Google sets a cookie value that prevents the redirect to Google+ Photos even when you enter picasaweb.google.com in the address bar.
