YouTube Capture app for iPhone and iPod touch lets you film and share videos instantly on the go. Google says, it will be available to Android in the future.

Once installed, YouTube Capture is ready to record as soon as you open it. "When you're done filming, write a caption, select which networks you want to share to, and hit Share. Even if you minimize the app, the video will keep uploading in the background. You can control who sees your video by setting it to private (only you can view it), unlisted (only people with a link to the video can view it), or public (to let it shine to the world)," informs YouTube team.

Additionally, using the Capture app you can touch video easily with YouTube enhancements like color correction and stabilization, or trim the length and add free background music from YouTube. "These enhancements are also available on existing videos on your device, and you can always undo enhancements later on YouTube.com. YouTube Capture will remind you to rotate your phone to a horizontal position for filming, so your videos look high-quality and free of "Vertical Video Syndrome"," YouTube team adds.

Update 12/21: YouTube have create Top Trailers Leaderboard of 2012 to recognize the U.S. trailers that audiences chose to watch this year. "As with our 2012 Ads Leaderboard, we compiled this list by tuning into YouTube's strongest signals of viewer preference: number of views, view rate (how much of an ad people choose to watch), and percentage of organic views (at least as many as paid)," youtube stated.

The resulting list reflects content that got rave reviews from U.S. audiences and shows why online video is key to any successful entertainment launch strategy.
