Google+ version 3.1 for iOS app updated now comes with a couple of notable features including Web links in posts now open in Chrome (if installed); Teens can now join and create Hangouts; fixes Instant Upload bug issue, and performance enhancements.
Also, Google today quietly rolled out movie rentals in Germany. So far, Google hasn't officially announced this launch and the Google Play help page doesn't acknowledge it either, but a growing number users in Germanay are able to rent movies from the Play store on the web and on their Android phones.
In additon, Google also brought Hangouts on Air to the German market. One Google Play feature that is still missing in Germany is the music store.
Images of Google Play gift cards are now available -- just after AndroidPolice discovered that the Google Play Android app was quietly updated with support for gift cards, AndroidCentral posted images of those cards.
The Google Play cards comes in $10 and $25 denominations.
Google owned Flesky announces a new "Fleksy keyboard app," originally designed for use by the blind or partially sighted, called "BlindType" created by co-founders Ioannis Verdelis and Kostas Eleftheriou of Syntellia - which was later sold to Google.
The new app (via is released for iOS devices for now, but eventually be built for all mobile platforms including Android, and Windows Phone.
