motion-controlled angry birds app for samsung smart tv

Also, recently, Samsung made the Angry Birds available on its Smart TV, letting you fling your feathery friends with the help of Samsung's unique motion control feature. "With your hand as the control, there's no more searching around for the remote, and you're free to move around the room."

With just the wave of the hand, fans can control gameplay features including initiating the slingshot and activating the unique skills of each bird.

And with the huge screen and crystal clear images, it's like you're in the game for real. Samsung's 55-inch ES 8000 is about 97 times larger than the display on the GALAXY S II.

Launching worldwide in July, the Angry Birds app for Samsung Smart TV will be available on Samsung 2012 Smart Interaction enabled models by updating the latest firmware.

Here is how it works?

"First, find the Angry Birds app in the Smart Hub and selet it. Once you see the Angry Birds' main page, you're ready to start playing! Acitvate Motion Control by facing your palm towards the camera, and slightly waving it left to right. You don't need wave too hard or to be too close to the TV. Just make sure you're not further than 4 meters from the camera and the Samsung Smart TV will recognize your hand.

Put the 'cloud ring' image on the play button and make a fist. Next, grab the bird! You don't need to put the cursor exactly on the bird, because the TV will automatically grab the bird as you close your fist.

Pull the slingshot to the left controlling the angle. Now, open your hand to launch the bird, sit back, and watch them cause mayhem," Samsung explained.
