The Digital Safety Kit provides the road map to help make that happen. "Kids will be armed with effective tools to use, especially when faced with challenges in the digital landscape, and parents will be able to learn practical tips that they can use at home with their family," Yahoo said.

Parents will also have the "opportunity to share what they learn with friends and family, and the kit illustrates the best ways to go about it. It also provides the necessary tools for parents and others to hold workshops in their school district or community, to spread the word about online safety," Yahoo said.
