iTunes Fesitval 2012 Featuring Usher, Norah Jones, & Jack White; 'jOBS' Biopic Shoot to Begin at Lost Altos Apple Garage

Apple's 2012 iTunes Festival begining September 1-30 at London's Roundhouse music venue will offer 30 nights of free music for live attendees and on computer with iTunes installed, or on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with the iTunes Festival app.

You can also stream the concerts to your big screen wirelessly using AirPlay and your Apple TV.

For this year, Apple inviting more than 60 artists to perform includes Jack White (previously of the White Stripes), R&B superstar Usher, One Direction, and Norah Jones, who performed at Steve Jobs' Tribute event in Apple's Headquarters.

Every ticket to the iTunes Festival is free--you can apply to win tickets to any performance. To enter, head over to the iTunes Festival website and select an artist to win tickets for that show. You can also enter to win from within the free iOS app, which includes information on the venue, complete line-ups, and news surrounding the festival.

Entrants must be over 14-years-old and currently reside in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Ireland, or Netherlands. Apple will draw winners for the show of their choice each week in June, with 160 total pairs available for each night.

Steve Jobs Bipic Jobs Shooting to begin at Jobs Los Altos home Garage

In other Apple news, Aaron Sorkin, the screen writer of the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic from Sony says, "I know so little about what I am going to write. I know what I am not going to write. It can't be a straight ahead biography because it's very difficult to shake the cradle-to-grave structure of a biography, " Sorkin told reporters at a news conference for his upcoming HBO drama "The Newsroom," Reuters report.

Reuters also reports that Sony has hired the Apple co-founder and long time friend of Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, as a "tutor" for the film. And, that Sorkin, has also said that he will move his full attention onto the Steve Jobs movie project late next month (June).

Also, the film chronicling the life of Steve Jobs, now titled as "jOBS," stars Ashton Kutcher, begins principal photography in June and the shooting of the early scenes of the biopic will take place in the "historic garage" of Jobs' Los Altos home where he grew up and where he and Steve Wozniak founded Apple to maintain "accuracy and authenticity.
