Microsoft is expected to compile Windows 8 within the next 12 days, a source who has access to private Windows 8 builds revealed.

"Microsoft is planning to complete the testing and voting of the next major public release of Windows 8. The Release Preview is expected to be compiled in 12 days, according to the post," posted a user who goes by the name Canouna on WinUnleaked Forums.

The Windows 8 Release Preview is expected to launch as a "feature-complete" build, meaning that what you see in the Release Preview will more or less be the same in the RTM.

The Release Preview is expected to launch sometime in the first week of June this year.
