Google recently on April 5 officialy confirmed its Project Glass; a set of glasses with a wireless data connection and heads-up display (HUD), along with a camera, GPS and motion sensors.

Now, one of Google's exec Sebastian Thrun, working on the product (and the founder and head of Google X Labs), wearing the glasses appeared on a PBS TV talk show on Wednesday, and showed off using them live by taking a picture of the host Charlie Rose and sending it to his Google+ page.

During the interview, Thrun took a picture of Rose with the glasses' on board camera. He then nodded his head which caused the picture to be sent to his Google+ page (the show was apparently pre-taped several days ago).

Here are the pictures: (Top Sebastian Thrun - Below Charlie Rose pic taken with Google HUD Glass):

How comfortable are these glasses? According to Thrun, the glasses appear regular non-Internet connected glasses. He mentioned that the small screen, which can be seen above Thrun's right eye, can offer a window to the Internet but that ultimately it does not distract him from the real world beyond those glasses.
