Emporium, a Microsoft Windows Phone application released on March 1, makes it easy to discover and learn about the latest Microsoft products sold at retail such as Xbox games, Windows PC, Office software, Windows Phone and hardware.

With the app you can see product ratings, images, videos, tips & tricks and enjoy special offers from top retailers.

Now, according to a new report, the company is planning the app on non-Microsoft platforms including iPhones and Android phones later this year.

Per leaked Microsoft's internal roadmap (see pic below), Microsoft is planning to take the app to additional platforms in the first quarter of Microsoft's fiscal 2013 (April-June 2012).
