On Sunday, February 12, Google announced that Google TV will receive a update in the next few days and will offer following improvements as well as new features:

First, Google added a new feature called "Discover," which lets you browse YouTube channels by categories.

Google TV Adds Discover Feature

Google also, released an updated "YouTube app" with new "channel pages." The new channel pages lets you "navigate through playlists and videos in your favorite channels," mentions Google.

With the updated YouTune app, you can now, update the app through Android Market, and you'll notice the app now works faster with smoother navigation for a better experience.

Also, you can now subscribe to channels from the YouTube app with just a click.

Yet another improvements lets you see related videos and more videos from the same user by pressing the up or down arrows on your remote. Once you've found a video, you can "use the up and down arrows on your remote to find the Info screen where you can give the video a thumbs up, add it to one of your YouTube playlists, or leave a comment for the YouTube community," explains Google.
