Google+ Now 100 Million Users Strong, Grown More than 10% Since Jan. 19th

During its recent quarterly financial results call on January 19, Google CEO Larry Page said that Google+ had 90 million users as of January 19.

Now, Google Plus has over 100 million users, according to a Google+ post by a third party researcher, Paul Allen, who has been calculating the number of Google+ users ever since the company launched Google+ back in June 2011:

"Google+ membership has grown more than 10 percent since January 19th when Larry Page announced 90 million users", Allen explains. "I have them at 100.8 million users by the end of the day".

Allen says that based on analysis of users with hundreds of different surnames, "Google+ is growing by more than 750,000 new users per day since the 19th." Further, predicting the growth he says:

"If that rate holds steady, Google+ will end the year with 345 million users. But as I have said before, Google has many dials and levers to use this year to increase signups and usage, including its Android 4.0 rollout. I stand by my prediction of at least 400 million users by the end of 2012."
