Samsung SUR40 Wins Best of Innovations 2012 Award at CES

Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface has been selected as an International CES "Best of Innovations 2012" award winner. "The awards recognize and honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 32 product categories, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas," informs Surface team.

Sponsored by Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of the International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow has been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976.

Also, at the CES - Paul Barnett's house is a very, very, very fine house, and sits on wheels, and for the entire of this week has been parked beneath the cavernous roof of the Las Vegas Convention Center's South Hall.

For the estimated 10,000 people who've been tromping through the modest one-bedroom house during the 2012 CEE, it can offer a significant education in some of the newest energy-saving solutions in today's home construction.

A subsidiary of Barnett's iShow Media, NextGen Home Experience, develops model home showcases featuring the latest technological developments for homes. Those can range from do-it-yourself projects to multi-room audio controls to energy-saving products and solutions.

the Arc Touch Mouse received another accolade this week. It's been accepted into the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, part of the Smithsonian. In addition, Microsoft hardware team had earlier this week announced two new colors for the mouse - Sangria Red Diamond and Cement Gray.
