Microsoft's decision search engine the Bing and Mozilla today announced a partnership that will now add Bing as the default search engine in the Firefox browser.
"Firefox with Bing, now includes default search settings for Bing. Now Firefox users who are Bing enthusiasts can use Firefox with Bing to use the Web the way they want without having to take extra steps to navigate or customize their settings to Bing," informs Tor Steiner, of Bing.
Steiner notes, "Firefox with Bing offers the latest version of Firefox with Bing set as your home page and the default setting in the search box and AwesomeBar (where you can also type in queries as well as Web addresses),"
Adding, Steiner said, "If you already have the latest version of Firefox, then you just need to download the Bing Search for Firefox Add-on to set the same preferences."
"When you get the latest version of Mozilla Firefox with Bing, you're bringing the ability to help make informed decisions right to your browsing experience. Whatever you're looking for, from where to go to what to do, Bing helps make decisions easier," reads the description of the download page.
