Microsoft released the Developer Preview of Windows 8 at the BUILD conference earlier this month. Now, Mashwork has created a infographic revealing the reactions to Windows 8 by collecting about 65,968 tweets between June 15 to September 22.

According to the report, "15 percent of the tweets were on the user's first reactions to Windows 8. While, 47 percent were excited by the operating system, and 33 percent offered suggestions."

"Only 20 percent of the Windows 8 Twitter messages expressed skepticism over the upcoming new OS. The actual features of Windows 8 generated 41 percent of Twitter messages. Of those tweets, 34 percent discussed the faster boot times for Windows 8, 24 percent seem to talk about Windows 8's Xbox Live/Xbox 360 support and another 20 percent talked about the new Metro user interface. The other 20 percent discussed other topics."
