The next wave of adCenter upgrades is in the works already, wich has been built with the most up-to-date browsers, announced Tina Kelleher on Microsoft Advertsing blog.

"if you haven't upgraded your web browser since the most recent version came out, there's no time like the present! If you'd like to stay ahead of the game by having your browser ready to go when the next version of adCenter release," noted Kelleher.

The exact date when the below browser compatibility updates will roll out is TBD, but it won't be before August 25th.

You'll see this alert message on the adCenter web interface sign-in page:

Your browser isn't compatible with adCenter. To get the best experience from using Microsoft adCenter, we recommend that you upgrade to one of the supported browsers (links to supported browsers will be provided, you will have the option to skip and continue log-in).

Here are the details as per Kelleher's post:

To optimize your adCenter experience:

For Windows, we recommend the latest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox

For Mac or Linux, we recommend the latest version of Firefox

Also, see our adCenter system requirements

If you are using IE6, IE7*, FF4, FF3.6, or Google Chrome 11 or 12

Your experience will be partially-supported; the adCenter web interface mayn't work properly in your web browser. On the date of the change, you will see following alert message on the adCenter web interface sign-in page:

Note: IE7 will be partially supported, but a message in the adCenter sign-in page will not appear. We do still recommend upgrading to the latest version, you just won't see the prompt for it within the adCenter user interface.
