Microsoft has been operating data centers since 1989, today, "Our vast worldwide network of data centers provides the foundation for the delivery of over 200 cloud services to more than a billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 70 countries," a Bright Side Staff stated.

Microsoft has started a new fascinating video series, where the Redmond company will take you inside several of its data centers to show how our global services team is delivering secure, reliable, scalable and efficient cloud services to customers.

Many of the featured data centers span 10 football fields in size, are powered by 100% renewable hydropower, and utilize a modular design approach.
