IntoNow, that Yahoo! acquired, is a cool technology with a mobile application that allows people to find, discuss, and follow their favorite television programs. Initially available for iPhone, a new Android app launching today, making it easier for millions of additional passionate TV viewers to engage with their friends around their favorite television on their mobile phones.

"Using patented SoundPrint technology to identify previously aired and real-time TV content, the new Android app allows people to easily chat with friends, discover new shows, and get TV recommendations based on their interests.

Plus, all the tech and fashion savvy mobile users will be excited to learn that the launch of the Android app kicks off IntoNow's integration with Lifetime Television's mega-hit "Project Runway," allowing viewers to unlock free digital content and engage in real-time conversations with friends and other fashionistas," informs Yahoo.

"Together with Lifetime, IntoNow from Yahoo! is bringing you Project Runway "Make-it-Work" moments to your smartphone and making it more fun and interactive for you and your friends (you know who you are - 70% of you use your smartphones while watching TV!)."

How does it work? "Both iPhone and Android users can simply hold up their mobile phone to the TV screen and identify each episode using the IntoNow from Yahoo! app to unlock free digital content featuring this season's designers, and that nail-biting moment right before Heidi Klum says, "Auf Weidersehen." You can also participate in polls, engage in real-time conversations with friends and other Project Runway fans, and share it directly on Facebook or Twitter," eplains Yahoo.
