Google+ debuted just a day back only, and is currently in invite mode, but that hasn’t stopped the Chinese authorities from blocking Google’s brand new social networking project, reports Ren Media.

The censoring itself isn’t too surprising; Chinese authorities aren’t too keen on U.S. social networks and the "Great Firewall of China" as it's known already blocks several well known social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Foursquare.

Just Ping and the Greatfirewallofchina.org both web sites confirm that plus.google.com is not accessible from mainland China.
