Microsoft's Streets and Trips launched "Cruisin' the National Parks Trivia" Sweepstakes website. According to the company, the contest is designed to celebrate America's national parks.
"This summer Microsoft Streets & Trips is sponsoring a trivia sweepstakes--all about our national parks," the Redmond company said. Come back to this site each Tuesday from June 28, 2011-August 30, 2011 when we'll post a new trivia question about our national parks. All correct answers will be entered into a weekly drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card. You can enter once each week!," the software company added.
Microsoft will hand over a total of $500 in prizes to winners that answer the trivia questions of the Cruisin' the National Parks Trivia Sweepstakes from now and until September 5, 2011. In addition, the company will also make a donation to the National Park Foundation, up to $5,000, with end users needing to get actively involved for the money to reach NPF.
Users who actually decide to cruise the U.S. national parks, will need a co-pilot such as Microsoft Streets & Trips, available for just under $40.
Microsoft is even offering a free download of Streets & Trips, a trial copy good for no less than 60-day.
