Microsoft just pinged about a new site called "Windows Experts Community," that houses a number of great resources, but of particular interest to those of you who use Windows Live is the new forum on communicating, sharing and synchronizing with Windows Live, where enthusiasts and experts can talk about all the ways that you're using Windows Live, about new developments in the industry, or whatever else is on your mind.

"If you're a Windows Media Center enthusiast you're probably familiar with a similar site called "The Green Button" that focused on WMC. Windows Experts Community will incorporate the users and discussions from TGB as its base but will take the dialogue way beyond WMC.

WEC is a collection of online forums geared for advanced users, enthusiasts, experts and so on -- those that're doing fantastic and amazing things with their Windows PCs and other ecosystem devices. We're also rolling out a community-driven wiki where members can create and edit articles and explainers on how they've set-up their PCs, created scenarios, or established their own best practices. There's a great Wiki on Technet for IT Pro and Enterprise related wisdom but why should they have all the fun? Some of us run our home like an IT shop but with HomeGroup and Windows Home Server instead!"

"Microsoft Answers and the Windows Live Help Center will continue to be the best places to discuss support issues and to get help, and this blog will continue to provide you with updates on the latest happenings around Windows Live, but the new Windows Experts Community will complement those sites with deeper, community-led discussions on a variety of topics around Windows and Windows Live," informs Dharmesh Mehta.
