Windows Azure team recently published content on the following new operations in the Windows Azure Service Management REST API:

With these updates, you can now programmatically create, update, and delete affinity groups, which previously were operations that could only be done using the Management Portal. In addition to these affinity group operations, there's a new subscription history operation that lets you list all operations that've occurred within your subscription, up to 90 days in the past. You can filter these results in different ways, such as displaying only operations for a specific hosted service.

To use this updated functionality, you must specify the newest version of the Service Management API in your request header. More information, see Service Management Versioning.
