Microsoft's Russian Windows Virtualization team confirmed that the final build of Windows 7 SP1 is 7601.17514.win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850. The Russian site also explains that the Service Pack will be available publicly today. Microsoft generally releases Service Packs on a Tuesday so it's not clear whether the Russian technet post is referring to a public release to select partners or a full web release.

The blog post indicates that "pack will be publicly available tomorrow." The post discusses virtualization improvements in Windows 7 SP1 and Server 2008 R2 SP1 and was published January 13, 2011. If the author's statement is accurate, that would definitely make today SP1 release day.

According to WinRumors, the release referred to in the blog post is only for OEMs, a claim supported by a another comment by Mr Kibkalo stating that SP1 could hit Windows Update in the next fortnight.
