comScore latest data from MobiLens service, reporting key trends in the U.S. mobile phone industry during the three month average period ending Nov'2010. The report found Samsung ranked as the top OEM with 24.5%, LG ranked second with 20.9%, followed by Motorola 17.0%, RIM 8.8% and Nokia 7.2%.

Smartphone Platform Market Share is led by RIM with 33.5%, Android captured #2 with 26.05%, Apple accounted 25.0%.

Mobile Content Usage section: 67.1% U.S. mobile subscribers used text messaging on their mobile device, while browsers were used by 35.3%. Subscribers who used downloaded apps comprised 33.4% of the mobile audience. Accessing of social networking sites or blogs increased 1.0%age points, representing 23.5% of mobile subscribers. Playing games attracted 22.6% of the mobile audience while listening to music attracted 15.0%.
