YouTube Trends, a destination for daily insight into the zeitgeist of the world's largest video site, that help find new ways of identifying the viral and newsworthy content people love to share and packaging it in an easy to digest format.

There're two parts of Trends: a website, which shows you currently-trending videos (it picks out four new videos at 4am and 4pm every day), and also offers more in-depth contextual analysis of the streaming video universe.

and, The Trends Dashboard is a totally different beast. It lets you see which videos are trending in a specific demographic, with ability to sort by location (US state, or country), age group, and sex. Immediately, you can see that Lego Black Ops is very popular with those between 13 and 17, but that adults are currently digging the Metrodome Roof Collapse.

Also, you can do a side-by-side comparison of up to three different demographics.
