Microsoft has confirmed that there are some issues related to Google Chrome and the Windows Azure Management Portal which can prevent customers from publishing a service package.

According to the Redmond company, customers have reported that the deployment process gets stuck at '95% Uploaded,' failing to complete. The error can also have Chrome crashing altogether.

Windows Azure Management Portal vs. Google Chrome browser

"We have seen a problem with new Azure portal and Chrome browser. The problem is that if you login Azure Portal in Chrome Browser and publish an azure service package, the upload process will always stuck at 95% and just stuck there forever. If you try to resize the windows the browser might crash as well," revealed Avkash Chauhan.

"This is a known issue with Azure portal and Azure Portal team is working hard to fix this problem. The current workaround is to use IE to solve this problem," Chauhan explained.
