"Life in a Day" is a unique documentary filmed by YouTube users that tells the story of a single day on earth -- July 24, 2010. For the past five months, director Kevin Macdonald, editor Joe Walker, and a team of researchers have been editing almost 5,000 hours of footage received into a feature film. Video from 192 countries were submitted and, today, a 94-minute film remains.

"Life in a Day" premieres globally on YouTube and at the Sundance Film Festival at 8:15PM EST on Thursday, January 27.
