Microsoft launches "Solution Incentives for Windows 7," focused on rewarding partners for engaging in selling activities with customers. Solution partners can earn $3 to $5 for each new Win7 Enterprise EA desktop sold. The opportunity has to close and be transacted as a new Win7 Enterprise license on an Enterprise Agreement in order to be eligible, but the solution partner doesn't have to participate in transaction itself to earn the incentives. This program is available in most worldwide locations, and will be available in the US on Dec'10, 2010.

Please note; "First, eligible partners must earn MPN Gold Desktop competency to participate in these solution incentives in the US; in other areas worldwide, partners can participate now and earn the competency by July'1, 2011. Second, all partners must have Partner Solution Plan Workload in either Client Management and Virtualization or Client Security," explains Microsoft.
