Last month, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg predicted that Kinect would sell more than three million units before the end of 2010, it looks they're couldn't back up the claim. As, Microsoft has begun warning consumers about the possibility of Kinect hardware shortages when the Xbox 360 motion controller comes out next month.

This news from Microsoft comes just days after Amazon UK and several Game websites stopped taking pre-orders due to high demand, though console bundles seem to still be avaliable.

At the same time, Sony's expected sales of their motion controller Move for the Playstation 3, in the US, tallied to around 300,000 units. And, across the globe it's exceeded expectations in Europe, with over 1.5 million units now sold since it launched late last month.
