With Kinect's November launch looming around, Microsoft has kicked off the device's marketing drive into top gear, in an effort to convince gamers to try the controller-free experience. A total of three Wii-inspired TV commericals were unveiled to promote the different launch titles: Kinect Sport, Kinect Joy Ride and Kinectimals. The peripheral's motto "you are the controller," can been viewed throughout.

The advertisements come after a fierce marketing campaign for soon-to-be-released PlayStation Move motion controller, the anti-Kinect website YayButtons.com put up with statements such as "Could you imagine gaming without buttons?" In defense of Kinect, Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda confirmed future games could use the Xbox 360 controller in conjunction with Kinect.
