Along with a new developer agreement that developers must now sign, Apple has released iOS 4.2 to developers. Yes, it's for the iPad too and includes AirPrint printing.

iOS 4.2 on iPad, enabling multi-tasking, printing, folders, faster browsing and other features. Here's a cool thing in iOS 4.2 for iPad: if you disable the simple passcode in the Settings app and choose to create an alphanumeric passcode, the iPad has a redesigned black keyboard in the lockscreen that makes its appearance. It was available previously by using the iOS Configuration Utility:

Also, Notepad gets some new font options which include Helvetica and Chalkboard which join Marker Felt:

Apple can't make up its mind on the iPad Screen Orientation switch, Apple's site had originally said it would be mute switch but at launch it turned into an orientation switch.
