Microsoft to Launch Zune Pass Internationally During Windows Phone 7 Launch

Microsoft plans to launch Zune Pass subscription service internationally, currently only available in the US. According to sources familiar with company's plans, "UK will receive Zune Pass service at Windows Phone 7 launch, while other European countries are planned but it isn't clear whether the company will secure these in time for WinP7 launch."

Countries that've Xbox-exclusive Zune video services, Zune Video services will also be available on new WP7 devices even if the music subscription part isn't ready.

Zune Pass provides unlimited access to several million songs Microsoft offers with its Zune Marketplace. Users can access the Marketplace using PC software, in a browser or on a Zune HD device. Microsoft will also bring the service to WinP7 and Xbox 360.
