Google has been dominating the search engine market for years, now it seems the comapny has taken the necessary steps to bring its search market dominance over to the mobile sector. Acording to recent data from StatCounter and Pingdom "Google's mobile dominance has been increasing. One year ago, its share of the mobile search market was 95.58%. That's significantly less than today's 98.29%, making it "undisputed heavyweight champion of mobile search" stats Pingdom.

For Yahoo and Bing, the situation is the opposite, Yahoo taking up just over 0.8% of market share and Microsoft's Bing barely touching even half.
