Apple reportedly gain an approval by the FCC for a new trackpad device, which's called "A1339" in the FCC filings. And, is likely to be called "Magic Trackpad or Magic Slate or Bluetooth Trackpad (as page 45 of the test report specifically identifies the product being tested as a "Bluetooth Trackpad.")".

From the filing -- a Bluetooth trackpad which would allow users to control their desktop using multi-touch gestures. FCC filing lists the trackpad as a "Bluetooth Device" which can be used by MacBooks, and features a circular bottom where batteries can be placed, and a touch-sensitive surface thought to be capable of multi-touch interactions.
