Google have recently released a bunch of new Gmail features built on top of HTML5 and other advancements in browser platforms, like the ability to "drag in attachments and drag images into messages was limitied to and was only available in Google Chrome and mozilla Firefox browsers only, and the ability to have new windows outlive your original Gmail window was limited to Chrome only."

Now, Google have made available "all the above three features to work in the newest version of Apple Safari browser," revealed Google.
