Saying and then denying has become a regular practise in our life, although Facebook is denying its "search engine tests," but apparently they're stealth-testing its search capacities in a move to threaten Google's search engine supremacy.

And now, in turn, Google is on the verge of launching a "Google Me" service that would jeopardize Facebook's domination of the social scene, Digg founder Kevin Rose tweeted. Kevin didn't provide much details except citing "very credible source".

Google is yet to confirm the news.

Update: Adam D' Angelo, former Facebook's CTO and founder of hot Q&A service Quora, shared his thoughts on Google Me," revealed.: "This isn't a rumor. This's a real project. There're a large number of people working on it. I am completely confident about this."
