Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 coming up with an "improved core instant messaging experience, and making big improvements to video chat and media sharing with built-in features like HD support, full-screen video chat, and more engaging ways to share photos and videos."

At E3, Microsoft unveiled details about the controller-free Kinect for Xbox 360 (formerly known as "Project Natal"), including how it enables Xbox LIVE users to have real-time video conversations with hundreds of millions of Windows Live Messenger users. "Video Kinect. Share a smile and a wave with faraway friends & family as you come together from living rooms across the world, no headset required. Video Kinect pans to follow your movements and adjusts automatically to make chat on Xbox LIVE more intuitive and easier to use than ever before."
