  • Attachmate Reflection 2011 to Offer Native Support for App-V!, and will soon be available for in App-V's native format for deployment within App-V's app virtualization environment. More Info: Press Release.
  • Microsoft launched a new community driven Recipe Forum on Microsoft TechNet. This forum is intended for App-V IT Pros within App-V community to: Enable customers and partners to be successful with App-V by accelerating packaging of App-V apps; Accelerate success with Windows 7 and virtualzation to improve ROI through effective app of products and technologies customers own; Promote ISV's, MVP's and customers expertise to share their best practice recipes in an effort to grow everyone's knowledge, expertise and save each other time by learning together.
  • MED-V V2 Beta availability in Q4 2010!, Customers wishing to participate in TAP program that begins Mid-June can email medvtap@microsoft.com. Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization removes barriers to Win7 upgrades by resolving app incompatibility issues from legacy LOB apps and IE6/7 web apps. MED-V v2 Beta will enable customers to pre-configure MED-V workspaces that can be delivered to user desktops via System Center Configuration Manager or any electronic software distribution (ESD) tools, and will also provide users with all the functionality of Windows XP Mode including seamless applications, USB support and printer capabilities.
